The older I get my tolerance for foolishness in people diminishes. What weighs heavy on my soul is the rise of mental illness and addiction, I have a beloved family member who's bipolar, and because of how difficult he has become, we are estranged. He's now homeless and moves around as a transient heavily addicted to fentanyl, there were several attempts over the years to get him help, but the city we live in has little to no resources for people without the funds to pay. Its really sad to see how many people are suffering with mental illness and substance abuse and are homeless, Because these matters have hit so close to home I see first hand how people just give up. I seek more awareness and deeper insight.
