Hello friends, Madalyn’s Musings is now Dr. Madalyn 🥹

It’s been (almost) 4 years since becoming a physician. I started this page as a way to just express myself and the creativity that can often be stifled by higher education, back when I was just Madalyn. Funny thing is, I still feel like ‘just’ Madalyn, but the reality is that I’m more than just that now. 4 years of undergrad, 4 years of medical school, and (almost) 4 years of residency later, I think I finally feel like I’ve earned my title as 𝓓𝓻. 𝓜𝓪𝓭𝓪𝓵𝔂𝓷 𝓝𝓰𝓾𝔂𝓮𝓷.

I wasn’t sure where I wanted to take this online community when I graduated medical school, and throughout residency I wondered if I even wanted to continue socials at all.. but I’m excited to finally have a direction. There will still be plenty of musings, because we’re all more than just our careers, but I’m hoping to also share my skin expertise and make reliable information more accessible through my platform. You’ve all watched me grow up on here and seen me through every crazy life change. From the bottom of the heart, thank you for sticking around 🥹

However you found me, and for whatever reason you’ve stayed, I’m so grateful you’re here and looking forward to growing and learning together 💞✨
