If you haven't heard already, Terraria 1.4 Journey's End is coming to PC... SOON! May 16th to be exact!

For those not on PC, you'll have to wait a bit longer... but hopefully not too long. There are rumours.


So as far as covering the update, I'm asking for your input. When it comes, what type(s) of video should I focus on? I'll be doing all kinds, and as many as possible, but I want to know what you are most interested in!

I changed my mind again, and I've decided to put the "random games with friends" videos back on the second channel after all. They weren't as popular as I had hoped over here, so I think they should have their own home for the people who are interested.

In other news, my apologies, but the video I was planning for this week for the main channel didn't get finished in time. I've been working on a new RUST guide, that will be out next week. Then we'll get back to Terraria gameplay videos, and I'll start to release some Terraria guides again as well starting in March (currently I'm only doing guides every third week while we wait for 1.4 and I try to get my playthrough finished).

Also yes, I know, I skipped doing a 60,000 subscriber update. It happened so fast, and I was so busy, that by the time I could think about it we were already at 65,000! I'll do a bigger one for 70,000 when that comes and tell you about all the things that have been going on. ;-)

Should I bring gameplay from other games back to this channel?

The guides and Terraria content will not change (yes guides are coming back soon!), and I WILL DEFINITELY be covering Journey's End when it comes out.

This would be the additional content I had moved to a separate second channel (multiplayer fun) and maybe the occasional solo non-Terraria playthrough. As in, more videos per week, but the extra videos would be different stuff. Merging the channels back together.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

It's official, we've blown past 25,000 subscribers and 6.5 million views!! Whew! Another HUGE milestone!!

So first of all I want to say it again, thank you. I've been thinking about whether to do a video or not this time around. Honestly my subscriber updates mostly don't get a lot of views, and even the people who do watch them don't watch them all the way through because as you all know I tend to go on... and on... and on... hahaha.

Also I'm doing this little experiment of just releasing guides for hopefully popular subjects to see how that affects the channel... so a less-viewed subscriber update would mess up that experiment a little. That said, it is a very big milestone, and I don't know if it actually matters one way or the other. What do you all think?

The channel has been growing well. Not quite as fast as it was for a bit there, and certainly not the accelerating faster and faster growth like we used to have in the early-ish days, but it's still growing quite nicely. Thank you again for coming along for the ride, I really do appreciate each and every one of you, I hope you know that.

One bit of not so good news. Today's video unfortunately will be delayed. Have been dealing with a minor family emergency yesterday and today. Don't worry, everyone's okay. I'll try to get it out tomorrow.

In other news, I will probably resume my let's play series in January. I might make other adjustments to the schedule, I'm not sure yet. I do also want to create the occasional guide for other games, of course I will continue making Terraria guides but it's nice to do something else here and there as well. Probably mostly "Guide for Noobs" type stuff because I haven't had much time to go much deeper with many games myself lately. Any other games you'd like to see me cover in some way, other thoughts?

Hey there people!

Some unfortunate news today - I'll be putting my playthroughs on hold for the time being, for a couple of reasons. I do have one more multiplayer episode to put up, might be this week or maybe later, but otherwise my Tuesday solo videos and the multiplayer series will be on hold for probably a couple of months, and at that point we'll see. I do want to bring them back in some form, but here are the reasons.

Firstly the good part. I'm hoping to use the extra time to better focus on my guides. They are the reason that most people are here, so they deserve to be my main focus. I have some big Terraria guides planned for the next little while, I need some extra time to develop those fully, and I also want to get into doing occasional guides for other games again (most likely "guide for noobs" type stuff). So let me know if there are any other games you'd like to see guides for. That does also mean I should be publishing guides pretty well every week for awhile!

Secondly the bad part. Unfortunately my playthroughs just don't get nearly as much attention as my guides, and I'm afraid that might be hurting the channel overall because of the way YouTube looks at things. While my guides generally get views in the thousands, my playthroughs generally get views in the hundreds. I know there are quite a few of you who do enjoy them, and I also know I could do better with the playthroughs - they're relatively vanilla unexciting stuff - but I'm not sure if they can ever compete. I do enjoy making them and want to keep them going, but this is also a bit of an experiment to see how it affects the overall channel.

I will try to bring the playthroughs back in some form, probably some time after mid-January. I'm not sure if I'll be doing them the same way, just continuing the existing series as-is, or I might try doing live streams or some fresher content like getting into mods. Let me know what you think, and I'll see what makes sense when I get there.

Hello all!

Just wanted to let you know that I've enabled the ability for you to join the channel as a paid member on YouTube Gaming, if you want to. I'm not going to beg you to do it and I definitely don't expect you to, but if you want to support me and/or the channel it's certainly appreciated, and honestly I could use it. Might even allow me to get some new gear and such.

Frankly I don't like the idea of special treatment for money, so as of now I'm not really offering anything special for members, but let me know if you think I should. You do get a badge, which is currently just the channel icon, to show that you're a member but for now that's about it. I will probably change/improve the badges at some point.

It doesn't show up on regular YouTube probably because I'm under the 100,000 subs (!) threshold for that, it will only show up on YouTube Gaming, so here's the link to my channel over there in case you want to go for it.

Hey everybody! BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

Starting today I'm re-focusing this channel on guides and Terraria content... BUT I'm also adding a NEW SECOND CHANNEL where all those other videos of me playing other games with my friends will start going from now on.

*Please ONLY subscribe to the second channel IF you want to see those, don't do it just as a show of support, I ONLY want people who actually want to watch that stuff to subscribe over there.*

I'll be posting a video on this channel to explain what's going on and why a little later.
As far as the schedule, it stays basically the same except split across the two channels. Tuesdays and Thursdays I'll be posting mostly Terraria stuff here, and Monday, Wednesday and Friday I'll post the multiplayer stuff over there.

The new channel schedule begins today, going to 5 videos a week! :D

So don't panic when you don't see a new Terraria guide, it's coming on Thursday!

Here's the new schedule:
Multiplayer Mondays (mostly Battle Royale games for now)
Terraria Tuesdays (new solo playthroughs)
Whatever Wednesdays (trying new stuff, mostly indie games)
Terraria Thursdays (guides and multiplayer, former Monday stuff)
Funny Fridays (more multiplayer, mostly the other usual Friday stuff)
