Reyna Tropical is a celebration of spiritual survival pulsing with the beat of all things tropical that is led by guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer Fabiola Reyna (founder of She Shreds Media.) 'Malegría', the long-anticipated debut full-length album from Reyna Tropical, traverses themes including queer love, feminine sensuality, and the transformative power of intentional relations to the earth. The album spotlights narratives often pushed to the margins and offers them a sonic homeland, continuing the band’s founding vision to be a voice and a platform for the joy and injustices living within the spectrum of Queer Love & Afro-Mexico.

This was filmed February of 2023. It was the first time ever I had performed this music on my own, without Sumo or any other friends accompanying me. The process was long and difficult not only to learn and create the programming behind this new set up but to find the confidence of stepping out on my own. Soooo much emotional shedding happened to create the space for this moment and video to come through 🥲 so proud of us lol can’t wait to show y’all
