other things: 2) testing out the mighty fine @Sonyaustralia 135mm GM lens (just a test, too broke to afford) 3) sax through modular synth at the latest @noizemaschin1202 (might be a live set from me on the horizon too) 4) galah at Walyunga National Park 5) tentative track names of my youtube sessions compliation, due to hit bandcamp in the next fortnight. let me know in the comments which sessions you think the names correspond to!

MOOD is the start of the show here - like last week, this is a set focused on MOODs microloops and granular delays.
just finishing up the edit for a set from the vaults, featuring, among others @emptyheadeffects BIG TALKER (far right), @bleakdistrictelectric TAPESCAPE (centre) and @ChaseBlissAudio GENERATION LOSS. time has been a lil too tight to record anything as of late. fear not - there might be some new collabs and live shows on the way...
50-minutes of ambient sounds hitting your ears (here: https://youtu.be/DA3onstEUuU) in a couple of hours. there's much fun to be had with the @ArturiaOfficial MICROFREAK and various @ChaseBlissAudio and @Endorphines pedals. the video, is of course, shot is super widescreen anamorphic - those black bars were not arbitrarily placed...let me know in the comment how you felt it.
this last week has been a blur of meetings and reports and emails so i can't really tell you much about what inspired it - gimme some time to think it over.
just a couple of screengrabs from tomorrow's video featuring @ChaseBlissAudio MOOD and the @walrusaudioeffects CANVAS 15 power supply. it's gonna be a long one, shot entirely on my extremely janky anamorphic setup. let it be known that said janky anamorphic setup is a pain to set-up (requires focusing and aligning two very old lenses) so you're probably not going to see another 2:1 aspect ratio video from me for awhile unless @SIRUIImaging decides to send a 50mm anamorphic my way....

New is a relative term here, as this was recorded on july 12. the big influence present is doubtlessly @SteveReichMusic - it's an endless cascade of repeating phrases, with other musicians substituted for dark mono delay of TAPESCAPE by @bleakdistrictelectric and the bright stereo delay of GHOST by @Endorphines . Stack enough delays together and eventually you have an orchestra of piano,s @ChaseBlissAudio GENERATION LOSS gives the piano and extra bit of tape flavour. The Ditctadrone by @BatteryOperated is swirling around a blank cassette loop - the hiss of saturated tape makes things a little more comforting.
life is gonna be increasingly busy these next few months, so my output is going to reduce in one way or another. rest assured, there'll still be plenty more ambient to come tho.
