I tried to quit caffeine. It has always been the final boss for me, the one thing I couId never see myself doing without. I lasted 18 days before caving. Going to discuss from the INTJ perspective on when testing yourself is worthwhile or just needlessly torturing yourself.

How much caffeine do you consume daily?

Going to be trying a series on this channel where I review the #1 books on Amazon from the view of an INTJ. First up will be Mel Robbins, Let Them Theory. It's terrible. Perhaps worst thing I've read. Full review coming soon.

For those of you who follow me closely, you know that my full-time job is a recruiter. Well, I published a book on my profession called Talented: the Tactics, Mindset, and Philosophy to Achieve Recruiting Mastery. I wrote it mainly for other Recruiters, but also for hiring manager and job seekers. A much different book than Marble and Sculptor which was solely about MBTI, but also a book that is more widely relevant to people. Might be something you have interest in to get a true account of the profession and its realities. Thank you all!

I had written my first book, Marble and Sculptor, waayyyyyy back in July of 2022, just weeks after our son was born. It was a big accomplishment for me to merely complete the book and get it published. It was received warmly and many of you supported me by buying a copy (even if you didn't read it, which is still great!) I'm so grateful for all the support.

Soon after publishing that, I started a full time corporate job and my MBTI related work faded from my social media. It may have seemed to many that I have stopped pursuing Type as a business or passion.

Well...

I made a decision to strictly pursue MBTI as a hobby and passion and not ruin it by trying to making it my sole means of income. I didn't want it to become a chore; I wanted to maintain the fire I had since I first opened Please Understand Me by David Keirsey.

With that mindset, I've been slowly re-writing Marble and Sculptor and making it a much more impactful, consequential, and essential book. I think the first edition was a solid start and had good content, but some of the more professional elements of the book were missing.

I hired a professional book publisher to read it over and give me some major corrections; corrections I'd been working on for the past year. New cover, new font, complete overhaul of formatting, and a substantial amount of new content.

And now, it is finally ready!

The link to buy is above.

Reviews are helpful as I have to start over and build reviews as they don't copy over when you create a new edition.

Thank you to everyone who has followed me since I first started writing and creating content around MBTI and personality type. I will be writing a 2nd book this year with a publishing date set for 2025!

‪@connectorqueen‬ had me on her channel to talk about a whole bunch of things related to social media, authenticity, engagement , creativity, auditing your life.... all great stuff. Not really type related but we do talk about her being an ENTJ (trust me- she is).

What do you all think?

2nd time I've been typed ISTP.

Am going to do a video on this interesting development. I think the fundamental issue is where Ti vs Te sits in my stack and how heavily I utilize it.
