if you're looking for the kurosawa/adachi vids i had to be careful cause tv tokyo is issuing manual strikes, and i've had this channel for many, many years. I reuploaded a few to creative commons that i felt were sufficent for its more academic purpose (e.g. experimenting with the vid form, making something more novel), but not all of them are there - apologies.

one of the single greatest figures, if not the very focal point, of underground rock has passed away. steve albini was a powerhouse. i cannot convey how often i would find a profound album only to see his name somewhere in the credits. his discography especially as an engineer is immense.
he will never be forgotten as a pioneering musician in his own right, and a master of sound design. his work is abrasive, uncompromising, and colossal up loud. i'll link to some works below, they'll testify to his skill and talent far more than i could say here. he was the kinda guy who would hate all the stuff being written about him this evening, but his art is woven into the very fabric of alternative music and he will be very missed.

Hello, in my newest Matrix vid I include a link in the description to my critical commons account which hosts some (but not all, apologies) of my old Cherry Magic videos, as a few people on here have asked about them after I had to take them down. It seems to be a good solution so far with all of them in HD, and more protected than they were on here. I'm very fortunate to be in a position where I was granted the upload permission, and I hope that those interested in them enjoy them again.
