Hello, my name is Dorian Andrews! I am a blogger and an English teacher based in Yokohama, Kanagawa. This YouTube Channel is dedicated to my friends, family, and fans who wish to follow my life in Japan as well as my musical journey. The name originated from the misspelling of my middle name "Darrell". My mother intended it to be "Derrell", but a misunderstanding led to the middle name I have now. Dori is my nickname I received in 2016 while living in Japan. Hence, the name "Dori Derrell" came about. If you enjoy Lo-Fi Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, and Japanese language, then you will definitely love my music! Follow me in this uncanny journey of performing in Far East as a foreigner living in Japan.

For this week, I am taking a break from my music discussions and only uploading one English Idiom video for my students and fans.
Summer School at my current company is well underway, which reduced my chances of making videos. However, Japan has a special holiday called "Obon Holiday" in which families go home to pay respects to their deceased loved ones. During this time, I will be able to record more videos!
