As many fans of The Amazing Digital Circus may now know, Epic Games has decided to officially collaborate with Glitch and added both the Jax and Pomni skins into Fortnite. I have a few opinions on this that I would personally like to add.

I want to add first that the skin designs look okay, but they're definitely not great at all by any means whatsoever, and here's why-

Pomni: Her skin has overly wide hips and curvier legs that were obviously never featured in the show, and it is very out of place from the shows style. Definitely something that I will admit isn't a huge problem, but it's definitely something that was unnecessary.

Jax: My only complaint about Jax is that his face just looks really stupid. In the show, he did not have black outlines on his eyes and mouth and it makes him look cheap.

Why do I criticize this collab so much? Well I just gave you the reason. They overdesigned Pomni's appearance and under developed Jax's. They could have done so much better with this collab, but it's no surprise that it isn't better, especially with Epic Games firing all of their GOOD employees. They're no stranger to stupid decisions.

Another reason why I hate this so much is because they didn't add any of the other characters like Caine, Ragatha, Kinger, Gangle, or Bubble which is quite sad. There was so much room for potential, but I guess what we need to know is that companies like Epic Games are money hungry and do not care about your opinions no matter how hard you try unless you're Ninja who practically built the entire game.

Here's what they could have done to improve this collab and actually make it interesting:

1. Add all of the main characters as playable characters and fix up their models so they don't end up like FunnyBunny (yes, I said it).

2. Add Bubble as a pet and maybe even give them some cool voice lines like they gave with others in the past.

3. Add some cooler cosmetics like a few cool gun wraps, gliders, pickaxes, backblings, and contrails that reference the older episodes.

Those I think are at least some changes that would've both made Epic Games a lot more money, and given fans a better experience and made them happy. My opinion again won't matter to the company though as I'm just a small mashup artist who won't and doesn't really care too much to make any kind of impact on the gaming industry.

All I am saying is that I think this collab is pretty unfair to The Amazing Digital Circus' fandom. Epic Games really screwed you guys over and that is not on, I'd like to apologise for that too even though it is not my fault. I hope they learn from this mistake, but they likely won't and never will.

Sorry this post was more on the negative side of things, but there wasn't really much positive for this collab at all. I'll get to make happier posts again! ^^

There's something very weird that has been stuck on my mind lately and I want to share it with you guys.

As some of you may know, I'm close to ‪@Lilfire5k‬ and ‪@SerialDesignationDSP‬, and I've noticed that the 3 of us have a very wide and different style for making mashups. Now these guys can correct me if I'm wrong, but let me explain it.

PurpleNinja: I make mashups with a kind of consistent chorus and verse structure that is usually the same or only a tiny bit different during the whole mashup. Sometimes I use stems, but mostly I use one bassless instrumental over an unsplit instrumental where it has all of it's instruments.

Serial Designation DSP: From what I know and have seen in past Discord streams, he does use the stems for each mashup of the songs he works with, but the lyric structure is usually always different during most mashups to give a more random but yet interesting feel to the mashup in which I respect heaps.

Lilfire5k: Now he usually goes all out with his new and current mashups. Usually he always uses individual stems for his mashups and very much plans them accordingly. The lyric structure is sometimes similar to DSP's, sometimes similar to mine, but he also thinks ahead and actually tells a story with most mashups. Sometimes it may relate to his life, sometimes it's just for the sake of it to give the mashup a meaningful touch to it in which I deeply respect a lot. No matter which genre of mashup he's working with, I always enjoy listening to the mixes and actually look up to him, he's come to be one of my biggest inspirations actually when it comes to mashups.

I think what I want to get taken away from this, is that it's very much fine with whatever style of mashup you work with. What matters is the enjoyment you take from it. Us as small content creators and artists need to look out for one another and give each other inspiration to be bigger and better versions of ourselves. We love making people smile just as much as any good person wants to.

In hopes of course with DSP, Lilfire and myself with making mashups, we want to really inspire people and encourage you guys to do the best of your abilities. Daniel Kendall and InanimateMashups had their spotlight to give the people what they really love and enjoy and to inspire everyone, and now it's our turn. I don't just mean us three, but you guys as well. I want us to hopefully inspire the next generation of mashup artists to take after us and use their creative capabilities beyond their limits. I know we all can do it.

Thank you for coming to what started as a comparison talk to and inspo talk, I didn't expect myself to go into this direction while I was typing this all out. 😅
