Having fun this summer! Katy has kept us hopping between gymnastics, swim team practice and homeschool. The farm is growing to 47 animals, and a huge weedy garden! John had 4 surgeries in 30 days, and hopefully, we got him all straightened out!
Picked cherries, made tons of baked goods and there is always my food preservation!
I’ve made a ton of videos but never seem to find the time to do edits!
Last year I broke 10 bones in my rt side. Was in a power chair for months.
Kneading bread helped me recover. This recovery led to a new Home-Bakery!
Loving my life!

Catching up on videos! I have tons to edit and get out to you all. Finally finding time. After breaking 10 bones on my rt side and being in a wheelchair for 3 months, I was able to do my own therapy by kneading bread and forcing myself to walk short distances. I recovered in 3 months vs 6 to 8 months. Esp for my age! :P Hope you all enjoy today's short video as I learn how to use my new cameras, stands, lighting and environment to film it all in! :) It's def a learning curve, as even YT changed a lot while I was healing. Let me know how you are all doing!

We did it! 100,174 Subscribers as of tonight! I want to thank all our Angels! We could not have done it without your support! It's been a great journey and I know now that the house is sold and closing in this awkward time (virus days) it's going to a sweet day to get the farmhouse started and completed by Autumn. Our prayers go out to the families who have contacted us for prayer as they battle this pandemic and rise above it; God has got this! Help is on the way! Look up! He's on the hill doing battle as we speak! Stay focused and stay busy. It's my best advice.

Our Katy-girl turned one last month and she's changed so much since then. She gives high fives and climbs up on all the furniture. She is about to get out of her crib...not sure what we will do when that happens...she is a climber for sure! She is fearless and that can be scary! She like to get in her big hamper and roll around across the room or play inside her diaper box; why do we have toys again? LOL! She's a joy as are all my grands...I'm just the lucky grandmother who gets to live and help raise one of mine! Whoo-hoo! I am surely blessed!
John's heart surgeries went well and he's greatly improved.
I'm doing better as well. Just a long winter and I'm ready for Spring walks in the park!

Maybe I should do a video on the COPPA child rules as we know them so far? Maybe that would save a few creators and help them turn their channels back into income again...with some ideas how to switch it over...???

Update: Due to the new COPPA involvement with YT and Gov rules about CHILD EXPLOITATION, John and I decided that we still agree with NOT posting children on our YT Channel.
I took down ONE video that Katy was recently in and will NOT be filming ANYTHING that has to do with CHILDREN hereafter.
I NEVER HAVE BEFORE that video and WILL NEVER do it AGAIN.
With that clearly state, I removed a total of 9 videos out of 720 some that were in violation for either music in the background or children in the wedding videos; We are taking no chances ... as the fine is great; $42,700.00 per video violation.
No one here makes that kind of mullah!
It took a few days, but I watched most every video of mine that may have a child, a child's toy, or any type of draw to children... in any way... and, removed nine videos from my channel in total.
One was a teddy bear lamp in the cover photo of a Goodwill shopping video.
AGAIN, the video can not even DRAW a child to watch it.
The line is a thin one if you breech it!
Take no chances, folks!
So, the hunt began and I am so glad my channel has always been adult content orientated and I had never featured children in my videos...not even in the background.
So, Raising Katy Series will stay, but she will NEVER be in the videos I post--just like the BEST DIAPER video.
In final, nearly all of my videos remain in tact and watchable.
I did hit the "FOR ADULTS ONLY" content button so that I could keep my Adsense Account.
I do feel sorry for all those hard-working content making family video-vlogs that must either come down or get monetization removed. If they don't choose this themselves, COPPA will remove this for them and fine them a large sum per video.
I was grateful the Lord gave me the wisdom to keep our children and grandbabies off our channel.
I'm still a doting Mimi, however!
But a child's life is their own; and their parents to raise properly.
I hope I can continue to bring you 'ADULT' based content that is clean and fun!
