Another year to close the books,
A chance to don our pre-spend looks,
So many new bags we long to see,
Like the birth of the Evelyne 23.

Traversing Paris with great vibrato,
Trying to win the Hermès lotto,
Then bestowed a QB as a mere mortal,
No need for the Detroit employee portal.

Just as my pre-spend seemed to be working,
I finally secured a Shoulder Birkin!
Even though my first one was busted,
In Hermes after care, I always trusted,
To offer me a new one, shiny and straighter,
Saving my next wish for a little later.

So we close the year just as expected,
Thankful for the bags we collected,
And for our health and family- sorta,
Ready for our next years’ quota!
