Was reminded earlier today that I am not a coward. It felt good.
I narrowly avoided a head on crash and ensuing mangling of unfortunate vehicles.
In the aftermath, I performed adequately and assisted as best I could.
Was basically the first on the scene until the calvary arrived.
Lucked out as I didn't have to witness death.
Praying for those involved.
Comforted that I didn't panic and fail when called upon.
Every man should know it's okay to be scared when in the thick of it.
Just remain calm. Do your best. Everything else will fall into place.
