On 12th June 2026, we had the opportunity to conduct a Workshop on the implementation of the Solid Waste Management (SWM) Rules, 2026, organised by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) at GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida.
The workshop brought together representatives from industries, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and other regulated entities with a common objective — understanding the practical implementation of the SWM Rules, 2026 and strengthening waste management systems at the ground level.
A special thanks to the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board for providing this platform for capacity building and stakeholder engagement. The guidance of Shri Manglesh Dubey (ADM), Shri Vikas Mishra (RO-UPPCB, Greater Noida), and Shri Reetesh Kumar Tiwari (RO-UPPCB, Noida) added immense value to the programme.
