I’m Toby - or ‘TJ’ - a Uk based composer, arranger, and musician. After studying in London, I have had the privilege of writing, recording and performing across the UK and internationally, with people such as the National Theatre, The BBC Big Band, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
As a composer, I am drawn to the darker side of genres such as thriller, horror and drama - whilst striving to write the perfect score for the perfect instrumentation to suit the given setting.
My personal ethos is that my job is done when you don’t realise I’ve done it - the music should seamlessly blend, compliment and enhance the performance.
