A lot of new people have found my channel through the Genesis video I made and have complained about the 21:9 aspect ratio of my videos since they’re not used to it.
What do you think of the ultra wide resolution of my videos?
So I know that in the video I posted today I said that I was using v1.17 of BA+, but honestly just ignore that and go straight to v1.18 if you want to play Matcha BA+.
There's a lot of pretty big bug fixes in this version, but the biggest thing is I LITERALLY FORGOT TO SHIP THE MODPACK WITH MATCHA IN IT UNTIL NOW, so that would be a good enough reason to up the version. See the full changelog below.
Okay, first of all. SORRY!
The previous versions of BA+ did not come with Matcha by default because I forgot to include the global_packs folder in the export, which is a global folder for datapack loading. As such, the modpack did not ship with Matcha Flavoured actually installed. Sorry about that.
This is now fixed in 1.18+, as well as the following changes. - Streams Reflowing has been fixed, so no more slow chunk loading times - RightClickHarvest now works with Jobs+ Farming XP - Backpacks were removed because their inventory clears after re-open (seems to be a bug with Matcha but not 100% sure -- removing until I know more information)
For those who have been having issues with the Matcha textures showing up properly, make sure Matcha is enabled in your resource pack list. It should be default, but check there if you're having trouble.
If you have any specific build suggestions you'd like to see my do, leave a comment on my latest video. I'll read through them all and credit you if I like your idea enough for a future video.
Next video will be some sort of grand Roman villa, sorry I didn't write the name down at the time but it came from a commenter.

Reminder that the vanilla server for S8 opens up today! This is not a new season per se, the current S8 industrial server will remain up, but both servers will now be open to give players the choice between a more heavily modded experience or a simpler vanilla one.
The vanilla world though will be a fresh start, so in that sense it is a new season.
Vanilla launches at 3:00 PM EST! Be there or be square!

Hotfix that includes Cristel Lib -- required dependency mod that caused a crash in the previous version. Sorry about that.
