🚐 ONE BASE. TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ADVENTURES. ⛰️🏝️
Who knew that just one hour from Brisbane you could find ancient volcanic peaks, peaceful pine forests, spectacular mountain views AND beautiful island beaches?
This Sunday morning, we’re taking you with us as we explore a very special corner of South-East Queensland.
Our base? 🌲 A beautiful hipcamp amongst the pine Xmas trees.
From there, we head into the Glass House Mountains… and then across to Bribie Island.
There are mountain summits, spectacular lookouts, campfires under the stars, local flavours, incredible sunsets… and a coastline that completely took our breath away. ❤️

Over the years of travelling and living in our caravan, little hacks mount to a lot !!! And recently we’ve picked up lots of little but awesome tips, tricks and upgrades that have genuinely made life on the road easier.
So in this week’s Caravanning Australia Tips 101, we’re sharing 10 caravan hacks that we actually use! 🙌
There are a few simple things in this episode that have made a surprisingly big difference for us - from our TV and 12V setup, bathroom storage and saving water, to improving our shower drainage, managing our solar, protecting our Starlink cable and even one piece of equipment Pete wishes he’d bought years ago! 😆
Some are simple little changes, some are modifications, and some are just things we’ve learned from actually living on the road.
