[ 📢 ANNOUNCEMENT ] A long talk

Next Sunday, I will release a very long video (more than 2 hours) where we'll talk about the evolution of BAND-MAID's outfits through the years with 3 special guests: ‪@NittPicc‬, ‪@FaroSofi‬ and ‪@MoeViiOlet‬ 🩷💙💜

You may already know that fashion is not my strength and to be honest, I don't care too much about their outfit.
This is why I surrounded myself with professionals 🤣

I'm sorry in advance about my tireness, we recorded this video between midnight and 4AM so it was tough for me to survive until the end.

I really enjoyed this conversation and had a lot of fun recording this call with those 3 amazing women!

[ BAND-MAID x NEK! ] 🥹

I've been calling this for so long and I'm so happy that they finally were able to meet!
I even made a video in June 2024 about the links between the two bands ▶️ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6406...

Since then, we've see NEK! members attending BAND-MAID concerts and even giving away flyers because they figured out that a lot of BAND-MAID fans went to their concerts at their debut and we know that the members really admire BAND-MAID members.

NEK! performed BAND-MAID song covers during some of their early performances and also on their own YouTube channel.

Who is would like to see those two bands on the same stage?

This time, I would like to talk without about BAND-MAID, those past two years and what's to come in the future.

Tickets for the European tour will be available tomorrow for OMEISYUSAMA so we'll have more to talk about.

[ 🥳 BIRTHDAY] SAIKI + World Tour & Interview?

Next Sunday, on February 8th, Saiki will celebrate her birthday!
As you can imagine, I already planned a video for the occasion, following Saiki's "instrumental" evolution since she joined BAND-MAID as a lead vocalist.

Hopefully, we will soon know when the tickets will be sold for the first half of the World Tour and we'll be able to plan in advance.
I can already confirm you that I will be at the three shows in Germany and also in Paris.
As mentionned in the title, I sent a message to MAIDIT, asking for an interview with the members.
I don't expect a positive answer but who knows, right?

I just learned that the tickets for Paris are set to be released on Feb 12-13 according to LiveNation France but it's the only show listed on their website.
Let's see if the rest follows.

[ 📢 ANNOUNCEMENT ] A World Tour and a hiatus

A few hours ago, BAND-MAID posted two very important announcements:

First, they announced the dates for their highly anticipated World Tour 2026 with 5 shows in Europe and only one for Asia in Hong-Kong but a 2-days finale at the Nippon Budokan!
I truly hope that there will be more for fans in the Asia area outside of Japan.
On my side, I booked the transportation and hotels to attends the 3 shows in Germany and the concert in Paris so I'll see you there!

Second, BAND-MAID announced that after the finale in November 2026, they will go in a hiatus from live performances during the whole year of 2027.
According to their communication to OMEISYUSAMA members, the members will continue to write more songs and prepare for World Domination in 2028.
I don't know what we can expect but it could be the largest World Tour ever performed by BAND-MAID.

I think that it's really nice from them to plan that much in advance and I can tell you that the message they sent to OMEISYUSAMA member was way more heartful than the one they sent to everyone.
BAND-MAID do love their fans, everyone who is supporting them for song long and we can see that it took a long time for them to write and rewrite this message.

My plans for this year is to try to vlog my trip to Germany and to Paris to make a video or a series of videos that I'll release this Summer.

For next year, I already have a plan so we can continue to make content even if BAND-MAID releases nothing and doesn't perform live.

We’re all eager to learn more about BAND-MAID’s plans for 2026, especially with their recently announced world tour.

In 2022, I had the chance to fly to the US and meet many of you for the first time.

[ 🌍 WORLD TOUR ]

BAND-MAID is going to tour the world next year, finally!
Even though they used to travel a lot before COVID, they never did a "proper" world tour with a lot of dates in different parts of the world.

Unfortunately, we don't know where and when they'll travel except for the two Spin-Off Okyuji planned in February.

What is your wishlist for this BAND-MAID World Tour 2026?

For me, a one-man tour in Europe with a lot of concerts to make up for leaving us for 7 years.
I have plans for 2026 so I hope that they won't come when I'm far away 😅

[ 🥳 ANNIVERSARY ] BAND-MAID Community Discord

On September 15, 2021, my sister sent me the link of the music video of "Choose me" from a band I never heard of called BAND-MAID.

I was hooked by they musicianship and started to listen to more with DICE and live performances.

Since then, I asked myself what could I do for the community and to talk about this new band I'm being already a fan of.

About 2 months later, I decided to create a Discord server after joining ‪@ryanmear‬ Discord server with so many kind fans who shared their knowledge of the band with me.

I immediately friends I made in that Discord server to help me with the moderation and give me ideas to improve the server.
I also recruited ‪@nair0n819‬ who made a huge datasheet with a ton of interesting data about BAND-MAID.
A document still up to date thanks to the work of the community.

With the support of almost everyone from the community on Mearcord, on Reddit and from YouTubers like ‪@ryanmear‬ and ‪@WavePotter‬, the BAND-MAID Community Discord, or BMCD, grew over the years to become the largest Discord server 100% dedicated to BAND-MAID.
Today, we have more than 2,600 members and more continue to join every day.

Thank you everyone for your support to BAND-MAID and to my work.
I'm so happy that we were able to grow into the best community ever ❤️

[ 🥳 11th ANNIVERSARY 🎉 ]

11 years ago, BAND-MAID relased their first MV for the song "Thrill", B-side of the single "Ai to jonetsu no matadoru".

This music video became a huge hit overseas thanks to the Facebook page Jrock Radio and saved BAND-MAID from disbandment.
