This is the highlight of our trip to Oslob, Cebu! โจ I can say na madaling i-DIY since accessible ito from national highway.
From Tumalog Falls Road, may mga habal service going to main entrance for only 50 pesos. While this is optional, sulit na para sa hatid-sundo at hassle-free dahil sa matarik na daan papuntang falls. ๐ต
The entrance fee is only 20 pesos, and we stayed there until 4 p.m., which is the closing time. I also noticed their staff started cleaning the area, which explains why the place appears to be so well-maintained. ๐ฏ
We went to Bangcogon Port at around 7 a.m. The boat ride is 600 pesos/pax with a 15-minute travel time to the island. โต
This is supposed to be a sandbar visit only, without resort access. Pero wala kaming naabutan na sandbar. Note that the sandbar on the island is so dynamic, changing its shape and relocating depending on the season. ๐๏ธ
At dahil habagat season, inabot kami ng malakas na ulan sa isla. To set expectation, walang nipa huts or anything na pwedeng masilungan so kahit wala pang isang oras, we decided to go back to Bangcogon Port. ๐ง๏ธ
My personal take, sobrang ganda ng isla pero ang pricey ng 600 na joiner rate para sa jam-packed na boat ride with more or less 20 pax. So if you can find a much cheaper rate, then go for it!
โ๏ธ If you are coming from Manila, take a flight to Cebu (Mactan-Cebu International Airport).
๐ Then, from the airport, take a taxi to the South Bus Terminal.
๐ Next, ride a Ceres bus bound for Bato Terminal. Ask the driver to drop you off in Oslob.

๐ Upon arrival in Liloan Port, you may take a bus bound for Cebu City and ask the driver to drop you off in Oslob.

I feel RESTORED. โค๏ธโ๐ฉน With all the trials, rejections, confusions, and disappointments, there is still solace, acceptance, certainty, and breakthrough. And for that, I am so grateful! ๐ซถ๐ป ย
Kicking off this year, may this be a fresh start for all of us. This was the highlight of my Lanao del Norte tripโto visit Maria Christina Falls, which I used to see in elementary textbooks. โฒ๏ธ
It is the 2nd highest waterfall in the country and serves as the primary source of electricity for the city's industries, being harnessed by the National Power Corporation. ๐
The place is currently restricted to tourists and not open to the public, but I was lucky enough to be allowed to take a quick peek inside since I mentioned I traveled far just to see its wonder in person. โจ

This is a boutique resort that is less than 10 minutes walk from the whale-watching venue.
We stayed in their Glamping Double, a fan room with shared bathroom. This is their cheapest room kaya sulit for a quick stay!

Katabi lang ng accommodation namin (Stay N Save), so hindi na kami pinahirapan pang maghanap ng makakainan for dinner. ๐
Tagaytay feels ang vibe, samahan mo pa ng masarap nilang bulalo, barbeque, at mango shake. ๐
Though hindi ito pasok sa budgetary travel criteria ko haha, reasonable naman ang menu prices for its food quality and servings. ๐คค
