It’s my 2 Year Youtube Anniversary!🎉
I normally would’ve done a special project to celebrate, but I’ve been incredibly busy.😔🙏

I’m going to try post a few edits soon and will hopefully try to get a video out showing off my editing evolution as a celebration for 2 years (no promises😅)

Still very grateful for this past year, even if I haven’t posted too much😌 I do have some big projects in mind, so look forward to that😉

It’s been a while but I feel like it’s a good time to do an editor rating to give out some advice to the community😌

Disclaimer (PLEASE READ‼️‼️)

I am not giving out a 10/10 to anyone because I think every editor can improve in some manner or try something different. I also think it messes up the other ratings. That means that your ratings here will likely be harsher but that’s okay because we’re all here to improve😌

If you get a 9.5 or above, you are basically perfect and I’m just going to give out a few nitpick on what I would like to see on your channel😉.

Please do not focus on the number too much and comparing it to your peers as it is just my opinion and everyone improves at their own rate. Instead, focus on the advice I give and consider implementing it into your edits😌.

I am going to try be as objective as possible and if you feel like you deserve better, forward me an edit that you think best displays your skill and I’ll reevaluate your score👍

VERY SOLID💪 Really good transitions and effects. I’d recommend trying a few more advanced and creative transitions such as with 3d as they can add a lot to an edit😌 I’d also recommend improving overall flow and playing around with a few more effects and overlays. Watching and making more edits definitely helps😌 Overall, sick improvement and keep going🔥

INSANE IMPROVEMENT DAYUM🤯 Really smooth wavy style and creative transitions😮‍💨 The only thing I’d really recommend is to slightly improve your sync as it can be inconsistent at times. Another minor nitpick is improving text animations so that they flow better with the rest of the transitions but I’m sure that will come with more practice as you master typography🔥 You’ve come really far and I can’t wait to see what you do next😆

REALLY GOOD EDITS! Your twitch shakes and cc add a really nice touch icl😌 I’d recommend making your transitions a little longer and smoother as it makes an edit flow a lot better. I’d also recommend trying to start using more effects (particles are a good start). They add a lot to an edit and can help you practice masking🙌 Also (this is more personal but), FULLY COMMIT TO EDITS! If you find yourself getting unmotivated or stuck halfway through an edit, take a break and revisit it in a few days😌 You’ll end up being a lot more happy with the result😉 Overall, really solid improvement on am and KEEP GOING💪

AMAZING STYLE! Your shakes hit perfectly icl and your transitions are pretty much perfect🙌 I feel like you could use a wider variety of overlays in each of your edits, like in your california gurls edit (that was so peak😩🔥). I also think a few more advanced transitions wouldn’t hurt aka more 3d😌 Minor nitpick but I wouldn’t mind seeing you try a new style every once in a while (rotos or typography???👀👀) REALLY AMAZING STUFF OVERALL🔥🔥

CLEAN TRANSITIONS SHEESHH😮‍💨 Love the text and sick twitch shakes. Your clip selection is also really amazing! I’d honestly love to see you experiment with different types and a wider variety of transitions as you could definitely pull them off!🔥 I’d also really like to see more storytelling in your edits, IT WOULD COOK!😮‍💨 Overall, AMAZING WORK😆🔥

THE CANDY STYLE IS BEAUTIFUL! You’ve improved a lot with it🙌 Really unique transitions! It’s a little hard for me to give advice on candy edits cause I’ve never done one😅but I think your sync could also slightly improve as it is a tad inconsistent. I also think that experimenting more with 3d objects could do a lot as I’ve seen a lot of candy editors use them😌 For character/transition edits, I would probably recommend using faster graphs as I think it would help a lot. REALLY GREAT EDITS🙌

YOUR EDIT SCHEDULE IS INSANITY😭🤯 Idk how you have so much motivation but I’m all here for it😆 Your text and glitches are beautiful! Really solid and smooth transitions🔥 Your storytelling is also pretty amazing icl😌 One thing I would recommend to get even better is to use songs that have quicker beats as I think it really helps you get out of your comfort zone and learn different types of transitions. I also do think you could improve your clip selection as I think it can be a little more intentional (if that makes sense😭) and surprisingly it gives you a lot more transitions at your disposal if you choose the right clips😌 OVERALL, AMAZING ADDITION TO THE COMMUNITY🙌, KEEP IT UP🔥

REALLY NICE WIS! Love the transition variety! Very clean😌 I do think your edits could really improve with better sync as it is somewhat inconsistent. I think they could also improve with a good cc and some better text. But overall, you’re progressing quite well, so KEEP GOING!💪

I really like the text and the flash shakes!🔥 Your sync is also pretty nice. I do think your transitions could improve though. I recommend trying to do some smooth zooms using keyframes and graphs. There are plenty of capcut tutorials online and I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it! I also think your edits could benefit from a nice cc!😌 It looks like you put a lot of effort into your edits and I’m sure you’ll improve💪 KEEP IT UP🙌

DAMN THOSE TRANSITIONS ARE SMOOTH! It’s insane how fast you adapted to Am! Your transitions have amazing flow icl😮‍💨 Love that cc too😌 That being said, I think you should really try to expand the number of transitions at your disposal.🔥 You’ve got all the basic ones down💯I think you can definitely try more 3d transitions (I keep saying this😅😭) or experiment more with text or shapes😌 I also wouldn’t mind seeing a few more overlays or cool effects! YOU GOT THIS MAN!💪 GREAT WORK ALL AROUND🙌

Really like your improvement on Am!🙌 You have some really nice shakes and a pretty good cc! I think your zooms are good but I think you should try practice more spins and slides to get even better!😌 I do think your sync to beats can still improve as well. I also recommend some good fonts as they are definitely better than the default Am one😅 You have really come a long way with Am and editing overall!😆 KEEP GOING!🔥

Please stop using Capcut templates for WIS. I seriously recommend trying to make your own edits as it is a lot more rewarding.😌 For your oc submission, you should add some transitions. Try using Capcut animations to get started👍 You could also improve your text by change the font and adding some text animations. It’s also really good to sync your clips to the beats of the song you are using. While there is a lot of stuff to work on here, it will eventually make you into a good editor! We all start from somewhere! You got this!💪

DAVINCI RESOLVE GOATTT🗣️🔥🔥 Your style is honestly so unique and so good🙌 I still find it ABSOLUTELY INSANE HOW FAST YOU PICKED UP EDITING!🤯🙌 Your transitions are so unique! Your use of text is honestly perfect, some of the best I’ve ever seen tbh! If I was to give some advice, I’d say that your edits sometimes get a little basic towards the very end of some of your edits. It’s a REALLY MINOR nitpick but I feel like it’d add a lot to your edits to have 1 or 2 unique transitions at the end to carry the hype all the way through🔥 I would also really love to see you try make a storytelling edit as I’m really curious to see what you would do. Ofc it is up to you😌 AMAZING STUFF and I can’t wait to see the Light It Up remake😆🔥

Hey guys, this is a friendly reminder that the deadline for my 1 Year MEP is in a month on December 8th. While that's a long time, the deadline is extremely strict (for obvious reasons), and I won't be changing it. I just want to keep it in the back of your minds and would really appreciate it if you could start your parts soon (thank you to the people who have finished theirs already).

There is no pressure to make your part perfect (this doesn't mean don't try) and I'm sure whatever you guys come up with is going to be amazing! Please tell me if you think you are too busy and don't think you can meet the deadline as it takes time to find replacements.
