Cameras are not allowed at the rainbow gathering, so i feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to film and record Society there. Also happened so organically, i played my song at the talent show around the main fire and it resonated with a lot of people, then I saw another song being filmed, a rainbow ARCOROIRIS song, and I just got the idea that I could easily film my song society in the same way. We had one rehearsal the day before this was filmed using mostly borrowed equipment. Mixing of the song took me about 2 or 3 weeks (using moises ai to create stems from the phone audio and then going from there, mixing in background vocals from separate takes and a zoom h6 recorder). This was the 4th and final take we did, and I'm just so thankful to everyone who made this possible. 🩵🫂🌎

in the flow with fellow nomad and wizard Elijah Love beside the most beautiful stream in california for episode 2 of Outside Society. you can see dogs, kids, and ducks play in the background as we talk about the reality of living a modern nomadic life.

editing and color grading an almost 2 hour video (with over 200gb of of 4k footage from 3 dif cameras) takes a lot of time, but i'm so happy with how it turned out and think the conversation is full of so much joy and wisdom. put us on while you're eating or having a long drive and want to feel like you're Outside Society
