The Confessionals

This conversation with Nathaniel Gillis was one of those rare discussions that doesn't just inform you, it reorients you. From start to finish, we weren't chasing stories or theories, we were pulling apart the framework that most people use to understand the supernatural in the first place.

What became clear very quickly is that much of the modern conversation is focused on appearances (manifestations, orbs, and encounters) while ignoring the deeper intelligence operating behind them.
One of the most impactful threads was the idea of the mask versus the intelligence behind the phenomenon. The conversation challenged the assumption that what we see is what we're dealing with. Instead, it exposed how the phenomenon adapts its appearance, presenting forms that people are already primed to accept, while remaining hidden in plain sight. When you combine that with the discussion on perception itself being weaponized, it forces a sobering realization: human sight, belief, and expectation may be part of the mechanism being exploited, not safeguards against deception.

That's where the breakdown of Book of Ezekiel 13:18 landed with such weight. Especially the idea that the passage may not be describing only humans hunting or collecting souls. He emphasized that while human figures are present in the text, the actions being described, such as binding, ensnaring, and hunting souls, suggest something operating through them rather than something limited to them. When you place that alongside the conversation about perception being weaponized and phenomena adapting to human expectation, Ezekiel 13 starts to read less like a distant rebuke and more like a diagnostic warning. This wasn't fear-driven talk; it was a call to discernment. The kind that forces you to stop asking what am I seeing? and start asking what is actually at work here?
