Day 11 of advent! Today’s verse tells us that through Christ we have freedom and redemption because of His gracious gift. It also says that we shouldn’t go back to our old ways, because that doesn’t please or serve God. Day #9 of advent! Today’s verse shows that when we trust in God we become His children and we can spend eternity with Him after our life here because He sent His son to die for us. That’s what we are thinking about this Christmas, how Jesus came down to earth to save us from eternal suffering. I once again encourage you to read the whole chapters of John 1 because there are great words in there. Remember Jesus loves you and so do I 🫶🎄

Hey guys! Sorry I missed advent yesterday so here is day 7 and 8! These verses show how God made us with a purpose and we are no mistake to God, think about that when you look down on yourself. The next verse shows that when we accept Christ we are made new, even though we still sin, we will now spend eternity with Him. Today’s verse comes from many years before Jesus was born, yet we literally have a prophecy that God gave Isaiah, and he wrote down so that the people knew Jesus was coming.
