Lost Impact

Hi, still not dead. I’ve just been on an extended hiatus because I haven’t been feeling particularly inspired to do much work on creating videos lately. This does not mean I’m giving up, as I still have an interest in making videos, like I’ve made so far, as a hobby.

I just need more time to decompress, enjoy myself in less mentally taxing ways, and try to improve my life a little. I apologize to anyone who has been waiting patiently for more AI Presidents Xenoblade videos from me (though I kinda doubt that as I think my videos are trash).

Not dead, by the way. I still fully intend to finish ALL of my planned AI Presidents videos on the Xenoblade series. I will explain now why I haven’t really been working on them lately:

In less than a month, I will having my esophagus examined to see if it has been a factor in any of my current health issues. This process will require me to be under anesthesia. As someone who has *NEVER BEFORE* been put under, I am more than a little scared. My mind is irrationally afraid I won’t wake back up afterwards.

So, I just want to wait and see, and try to do all I can to make peace with myself beforehand. I don’t *expect* to die, but I’m still just nervous about the prospect of being put under in general.

In short, I don’t want to potentially be working on something I won’t be able to complete within whatever remains of my “lifetime,” so to speak.

Thank you, and to the few who have watched my videos, I look forward to receiving *constructive, and helpful criticism* in the future if I continue to do this as a longer-term hobby.

Oh hey, looks like my Xenoblade 2 base game video finally passed 100 views. Nice! 👍

I honestly don’t know if I’ll keep the Update video from prior to part 2’s release. I might just private it, since it doesn’t exactly make sense anymore to have it up, but we’ll see.

Just another reminder I’m not dead. I’ve just been being lazy. I would like to apologize for the lack of any sort of update on the “chainsaw man” or “MechWarrior 3” projects. Neither of those have started yet. For the Chainsaw Man thing, I am reliant on the assistance of a friend. But, their availability is inconsistent.

I think I may post-pone the MechWarrior 3 video until after whenever I make the Torna video, unless inspiration strikes me soon enough.

I would like to thank everyone who has watched my Xenoblade 1 and 2 videos! Though I have MANY things I dislike about the quality of the videos, especially script-wise, I am at least proud to see that the videos have accrued nearly 200 views and 80 views respectively!

I am postponing work on my Xenoblade 2 Torna video until this new year starts, as I’ve been dealing with some chronic health issues lately.

In addition, I apologize for not yet making an update video to explain why I had to delay my Xenoblade 3 videos, so I’ll just explain why here:

Long story short, the scripts for the Xenoblade 3 videos are just both TOO LONG and TOO SHIT to be usable in their current states. I need to actually bother to do 2nd drafts of BOTH the scripts on the base game, and Future Redeemed, to make the videos “acceptable.”

Lost Impact

I’m not dead, I’ve just not been doing much cause I’ve been feeling burned out. I’m trying to stay positive, given what’s been going on politically.

I’ve also been doing A LOT of chipping away at beating the games on my “Before I Die” list. This list includes LOTS of RPGs, like:

1.) BOTH Devil Summoner Raidou Kuzunoha games
2.) Panzer Dragoon Saga
3.) Front Missions 4 and 5
4.) The Xenosaga trilogy
5.) The Shadow Hearts trilogy
6.) Various action games (Blood Will Tell, Seven Samurai 20XX, Rygar, and a few others)

So, there’s lots of NOT SHORT games I’m trying to get through quickly. Naturally, this can be a bit mentally taxing. I TRY to get my brain to do video work, but I just end up putting it off.

I do still plan on completing my AI Presidents Xenoblade project, and the two smaller ones I mentioned at the end of my Xenoblade 2 video. I just might need to wait until the start of this coming year to begin work in earnest.
