Well..the recent rain brought the petunias out in blooming glory. And I noticed a spider web in there with intricate design and a teeny tiny spider in the web. I drew a picture of the web. I hope the lizards don't eat Mr. Spider. Isn't nature amazing??

Today I salute the machine that started it all. Yes...before computers and the internet, there was the typewriter....upon which many great novels, poetry, prose, news stories and all forms of communication was written for all to read. It was a workhorse in all offices and businesses. It was the writer's machine back in the days before technology. Strong and tough as a tank. No software. Only hardware. Tactile and real. Only for the author's eyes. Staring at actual words on paper. No hackers here. Those were the good old days....today we salute the typewriter.
