FELIX NEEDS A LIVING KIDNEY DONOR! I have been thinking about Felix, his wife Jordan and their 3-year-old Felix Jr. all weekend. Felix’s story is coming up next week on Your Story Counts. I interviewed Felix and filmed him walking me through the process of administering his own dialysis at home, which he does three times a day! Felix is really sick, and yet he stays so positive. He is a genuine friend who is there if you need him. We were in homeroom together in high school and I remember him being the exact same way back then - kind and caring. I did some research while editing his story this weekend and found that 12 PEOPLE DIE EACH DAY WAITING FOR A KIDNEY (National Kidney Foundation). I broke down seeing that statistic. Please, please let’s work together to make sure that doesn’t happen to Felix. PLEASE share his story like crazy once it goes live. We’ll be posting more with Felix this week. His full story will air next Wednesday 3/13.

Our newest story JUST posted!! Watch Stevie and Finn's story NOW!! Finn is four-years-old and was diagnosed with FOXG1 Syndrome -- a very rare neurological genetic disorder. He is one in about 1000 known diagnoses WORLDWIDE. Our story goes live just in time for Rare Disease Day. And tonight-- the CEO of the FOXG1 Research Foundation is speaking at the White House. Let's spread awareness about this disorder!
