Why is the weekly livestream so inconsistent with the weeks we do it? I wanted to answer this question in light of another week's (this week) stream being called off. It's a simple answer. My health. The trend has been it's slow decline each year, with intermittent periods of recovery. I'm only getting older after all and some weeks I just don't have the energy to do the stream as well as other commitments getting in the way. Unfortunately I don't see this trend changing anytime soon. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome sucks and one of the most annoying things about it is that I don't know how much energy I'm going to have with each new day or week, unless the day before I'm suffering through a crash, like now. Hosting a stream takes a lot more energy for me, which is different to joining in on someone else's where I don't need to talk as much like on FNT, where sometimes I can turn the camera off and recline a bit to help me get through it if I'm feeling crap that day. But still there are those days I even need to miss FNT and many other things because of my health. I'm grateful for your patience and those that join us when we do go live. I enjoy myself every time we do it, and I'm really grateful for my co-hosts. They're awesome guys. I know cancelling the occasional stream hurts the channel and its recommendations, and those that want to build the weekly habit of joining us, but I'm putting my health first in this case and always hope to have better luck the week after. I don't like announcing every time I need to call off the stream, and haven't for most of them because that would just makes this community tab nothing but apologies for missed livestreams, so I'm making this post to let you all know that when the livestream doesn't go ahead one week, this is most likely the reason. So with another one cancelled I'll say I hope to see you next week and thank you for your patience with my unreliability.
I’ve just published the biggest video I’ve ever made and it’s one that most people will have no interest in, lol. It is extremely technical, dry, and precise in detail, and I love it. I want to share it with you because it’s the most significant and personally meaningful video of my life, and the culmination of over 20 years of personal study, prayer, revelation and reflection. It’s a video that explains the origin of God and Nature of Existence according to the teachings of my faith, called The TOTALITY model. If you are interested in the question of where God comes from and would like to watch the video, please do so with an open mind and commitment to understand some VERY deep concepts. I hope you find it as enlightening as it was to make.
I know this won’t be for everyone but it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while now. I’ve finally started my own LDS (latter-day saint/mormon) doctrine YouTube channel because I love my religion and its teachings. It's a casual channel where I can share my study, beliefs, and religious thoughts. It also goes DEEP and assumes the viewer has some understanding of LDS beliefs and scripture and therefore it's mainly for LDS people but of course everyone is welcome. The first video is out, a deep dive into Latter-day Saint belief of infinite regress of Gods and what Joseph Smith actually taught about God having a father from The Sermon in the Grove and King Follet discourse
With it being Christmas eve here in Australia we won't be doing the Culture Crusade this week but we'll see you all next week. Have a great Christmas everyone!
Check it out! Shad has started a new YouTube channel called SHAD AI dedicated to celebrating the awesome things you can make with AI art and how Ai Art can benefit artists. youtube.com/@SHAD_AI He'll be making heaps of new content on this channel and reposting his AI videos so they can all be found in one place. There’s already a new video up right now. In addition to the videos making awesome Ai Art, you'll find videos addressing misconceptions about this technology, defending Ai Art and its legitimacy, tutorial videos showing how he makes his art, sneak peeks into his future projects as he shares the artwork and concepting he makes of them, and much more.
