My name is Amanda. I enjoy a variety of things. I love to cross stitch, knit, work on puzzles and diamond paintings, am learning to crochet, and enjoy drawing and painting. I read ( A LOT) and enjoy sharing books and book reviews on my blog and social media, so will probably share some on here also.

Still not getting caught up as I had wanted to. I’m going to be stuck at work for the next few days due to the weather mostly likely, sleeping in the office when I can, and can’t stitch on this there unfortunately. Wish me luck! I’ll try to get more done on my next days off.

Haven’t gotten as much as I’d wanted to get done, I had forgotten how this much confetti slows me down, but I am really enjoying stitching on this regardless of my speed. 😆

Only added 233 stitches tonight after work. Only at 0.63% so far. Hopefully I’ll get more done tomorrow after work. I need to average quite a bit more than this per day if I want to get this done in a year! 🤣 I’m enjoying the stitch so far, so I’m happy regardless.

New start! I received my HAED 2026 SAL chart a few days early so I started it as soon as I got home.
The first 323 stitches are in! That’s what markup says anyway. I’ve never used the program before, usually used printed charts, but I’m enjoying the app so far.
I can’t wait to stitch more on it after work tomorrow 😍

I work Christmas Day so my daughter and I celebrated on Christmas Eve. We ate some yummy food and drank a little wine. Then she spoiled me with lots of cute gifts, including some floss for a SAL I joined, and I returned the favor, but mostly with K-pop albums. Spent the rest of the night stitching a bit on my Christmas horse while watching Stranger Things. It was a good day.

Between working overtime, my daughter graduating from university, and then all the preparing for Christmas, I’ve been exhausted and not in the mood to stitch much. Made a little more progress on just the one kit these last few days. Hopefully I’ll get my stitching bug back soon!
