In 2023, I walked into the RBI Grade B interview room carrying years of preparation, hope, and belief.
I walked out with experience — but not my name in the final merit list.
It hurt. I won’t pretend it didn’t. There were expectations. There were sacrifices. There were silent battles no one saw.
For a while, I questioned myself.
But instead of letting that chapter close quietly, I decided to speak about it. I shared my journey — honestly, without filters — through a YouTube short.
Today, that video has crossed 1 MILLION views.
More than the number, what truly moved me were the messages: “Aapki story se hope mila.” “Sir, I was about to give up.”
Currently working as an Assistant Manager at Union Bank of India, I continue to grow, learn, and show up every day — but that chapter of chasing RBI shaped a different kind of strength in me.
If my setback can become someone else’s strength, then maybe it was never a failure.
I’m deeply grateful — for the rejection, for the lessons, and for every person who took a few seconds to listen to my story.
This is just the beginning.
I will be more active now — sharing more real stories, experiences, and insights from my journey. If it helps even one aspirant stay consistent, it will be worth it.

Hi folks! A lot of you wanted to know whether I cleared this year RBI phase 1 or not.The answer is I did not make it this year.There are a lot of reasons for my failure this year. One of the reason is not focusing on quants section.I am also dealing with a lot of family stuff right now.My father has just been diagnosed with a terminal disease and I am on Leave from past 2-3 months. My organisation is not even bothered to give me temporary posting for a few days/months in a metro city which I asked for.So i urge you all to choose your job very wisely.Its been tough lately but one thing I learned from all this is that you must keep fighting everyday and move forward.Whatever is written for you,you will get it in the end.
