In two previous episodes, we examined the case of the Ballito teenager linked to an alleged shopping mall bomb plot.

Dr Gérard Labuschagne raised concerns about reported behavioural warning signs and the need for intervention. We subsequently examined the police response with a retired counterterrorism investigator.

Now the same teenager is accused of stabbing a six-year-old girl at a school in Umhlali.

Tonight we're joined by Jacqueline Herbst, the North Coast Courier journalist who broke the original story and has continued investigating the case.
