I like storyboarding and animating - you can see some of my professional work as a story revisionist and story artist on the show Go! Go! Cory Carson on Netflix (in particular, check out the shorts compilation Go! Go! Cory Carson: Chrissy Takes the Wheel. The last short in that compilation, "Chrissy Movie", was my story, and I also got to write and board it. It was wonderful!)

My dear friend Kalublah has started a Patreon to fund the creation of his epic mythological indie miniseries "The Lark Anthology"! Two days ago Next Up Forever reached 1,000,000 views!! I'm so happy that the project has resonated with so many people. So to celebrate the milestone, here are Boon and Violet's three kits: Lynx, Rex, and Viola.
FireClan naming patterns, after the events of Next Up Forever, quickly took on a model inspired by Boon. Since he had three names (first Rusty, then Boon, then Boonstar) that became the custom for new kits born into the clan. Kits have a "given name", or "child name", which is usually similar to other kittypet and street cat names. When they reach 6 moons, they gain a completely new name, an apprentice name, which is tagged onto their old name. For example, Rusty Boonpaw. And then when they become a full warrior, they gain a suffix for their warrior name - aka Rusty Boonstar. FireClan warrior names tend to use more human elements as inspiration (eg Trashpaw, Cartail, Petrolnose, Lamplight)
Both together are seen as a "full name" of sorts, and the full thing is only really used in important ceremonies (or when a mother is mad at their child.) Most cats reserve their "given name" for close friends or family members, while using their warrior name with the Clan as a whole.
Lynx would go on to have the apprentice name Flowerpaw, and then when they became a medicine cat, the full name Lynx Flowerheart.
Rex became Torchpaw, and later, Rex Torchlight.
And Viola became Oilpaw, and later Oilripple.
