The Kashmir Standard organization believes that Kashmir needs an all-round development in education, technology,politics, tourism, infrastructure and above all reformation of thoughts.
The organization believes in developing indigenous and unique strategies for fighting poverty, illiteracy, corruption, domestic violence and other social evils with the power of thoughts and to bring such problems on surface and to make them conspicuous on both national and international level.
THE KASHMIR STANDARD also wants to ignite the young souls in whatever perspective it can.

Traffic Updates for J&K: NH-44 Slow Movement, Zojila Pass Closure, and Weather Disruptions
Traffic authorities in Jammu & Kashmir have issued critical updates for travelers:
1. NH-44: Slow traffic reported due to HMV breakdowns and single-lane conditions at Dalwas, Mehad, and Marog-Kishtwari Pather.
2. Srinagar-Kargil Road (SSG Road): Traffic remains suspended from January 11-13, 2025, for maintenance at Zojila Pass amid inclement weather.
3. Mughal, Bhaderwah-Chamba Roads: Closed due to snow accumulation.
4. Travel Advisory: LMVs recommended to travel only during daytime on Jammu-Srinagar NHW to avoid risks from shooting stones in Ramban-Banihal areas.
