Is this the new open-air RTT from Naturnest?
Not quite—but that would be pretty awesome if they made one!
What’s really happening here is a tent material swap. I damaged one of the walls, and to my surprise, Naturnest actually sells replacement tent fabric right on their website.
The best part? Swapping it out was simple. The top unzips, the bottom slides through a channel, and the whole thing can easily be done in your driveway. Huge props to Naturnest for thinking ahead and making this a straightforward DIY fix. Their customer support? Once again, fantastic.

We were heartbroken to hear of the tragic passing of Matthew and Stacey from @ToyotaWorldRunners last week while overlanding in British Columbia.
My wife and I discovered their channel about a year ago and were immediately drawn into their genuine love for adventure—and for each other. Watching them travel the Pan-American Trail with such passion and connection was inspiring. Their chemistry was real, relatable, and deeply touching.

I’ve always been a fan of doing my own maintenance—because it saves money, helps me learn my rig inside and out, and let’s be honest, I don’t trust anyone else to care like I do.
Now that I’ve joined the Toyota family, I keep hearing one thing over and over: these things will run forever—if you keep up with proper maintenance.
So here I am, learning that the stock plastic oil filter housing is basically a ticking time bomb. Pro tip from the internet: swap it out before it cracks during an oil change. Also, this little tool? Makes the job way easier.
