Who controls the world of football?
Is it: (A) controlled by all of us, through our national football associations, via the -- albeit flawed -- federations FIFA and UEFA.
OR is it (B) controlled by a handful of ultra wealthy American and Middle Eastern men; the men who own the most powerful clubs?
The European Super League zombie (puppeteered by Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Juventus) is currently fighting to get the European Court of Justice to say that (A) cannot be the answer, since that would be illegal under EU law. The court will decide whether that is true or not during 2023.
But, already today, the advocate general of the court said, in his non-binding preliminary opinion, that answer (A) is NOT illegal under EU law. If the court, in its final decision during 2023, disagrees with the advocate general, and instead sides with the zombie ESL, i.e. decides that answer (A) IS illegal -- then the world of football will never be the same.
