Hunza's Young Taxi Driver Falls Victim to Fraud in Karachi.

Karachi – A young taxi driver from Hunza has suffered a significant financial loss after being deceived by a fraudster in Karachi. According to the victim, he met the suspect in Rawalpindi, who introduced himself as an influential businessman.

Sources reveal that during their long journey together, the suspect built a friendly rapport with the driver and pretended to have phone conversations with well-known personalities to establish credibility. Upon reaching Karachi, the suspect hosted the driver at a hotel, treating him with great hospitality.

Later, using a technical issue as an excuse, the fraudster convinced the driver to provide his bank account details. The suspect then transferred a large sum of money into the driver’s account, only to later redirect the funds to his father’s and other individuals' accounts. A few days later, the suspect requested an additional **PKR 1 million**, which the driver managed by borrowing from friends.

The same evening, the fraudster asked for the vehicle's documents, claiming he needed them for a delivery. However, after obtaining them, he disappeared without a trace.

The victim later managed to acquire the suspect’s contact number and attempted to reach him, but the fraudster proved to be extremely cunning. Reports suggest that the suspect involved his entire family in this scam, even including his fiancée. According to the victim, when he confronted the suspect’s fiancée, she introduced herself as a **PTI Hunza leader** and claimed to have strong legal backing.

Sources confirm that legal action has been initiated, and an **FIR** is being registered in Karachi against the suspect. Additionally, his photos and details are being shared on social media to warn the public about such fraudsters.

The youth of Hunza and other regions are advised to be cautious and avoid blindly trusting strangers. Before engaging in financial transactions, thorough verification is crucial. In case of fraud, victims should immediately seek legal action to ensure such criminals are held accountable.
