Over the past 30 days, I’ve been enrolled in a course by ‪@David.Ghiyam‬ . He shares that this period of time is one where we can feel extremely challenged to face our judgements, forgive others, and be like the light of the creator. Old wounds may resurface and we are challenged to release all forms of judgment.

Let me tell you, it’s been a very… interesting 4 weeks.

The past 28 days have felt full more lows, confusion, uncertainty, pain, loss, fear, worry, and hopelessness than I have in a long time.

And yet, there has never been more light revealed in my life.

Somehow, the past 28 days have also been so full of love, play, fun, laughter, kindness, care, appreciation, purpose, intentionality, acceptance, harmony, coherence and peace.

30 days of simultaneous high and lows and I feel I’m able to access greater forgiveness, acceptance, patience, love, clarity, strength, faith, compassion, selflessness, balance, and most importantly, certainty than ever before.

That’s not to say I think I’m perfect nor do I think the work is ever done.

But as I lay my head to rest tonight, I’m feeling extremely grateful for all the challenges, the chaos, and tests I’ve been experiencing. Grateful for myself, for the teachers I listen to, and the people who act like teachers in my life.

And of course, I’m grateful for light that has been able to be revealed in my life because of it. I’m grateful for my relationship I’ve formed to parents, siblings, friends, purpose, and, most importantly, myself.

After an intense 28 days, I sat down just 2 days ago to write my weekly newsletter for my business, and I stumbled upon this quote that seemed to perfectly summarize the past 30 days…

“And now that you don’t have to be perfect, you can be good” - John Steinbeck

I’ll never be perfect, but I think the past 30 days really helped me understand what it feels and means to be good. And I feel good about being good.
