The Devil May Cry 5 Platinum Trophy Hunt - COMPLETE (mostly)

Hey everyone. I just wanted to let you know that my Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition platinum trophy hunt is 99% finished! I'm just waiting for a voice clip from a fellow youtuber and then it'll be all done, over a month in advance. I was productive for once.
It's about 33 and a half minutes long, it's a hefty video.

It will be released on the 11th of May 2026, one day before season 2 of the DMC Netflix anime (so you can experience peak DMC before seeing if 'visionary' Adi Shakar ruins Vergil).
I hope to see you all there, I've put my heart and soul into this one and I think it'll be well worth your time.

Once it's done, I'll be allowing my patreons and my youtube members to view it a week early, so if that's something you fancy, you know where to go! But it's 100% optional, the full video will still be released on time no matter what.

In the meantime I'll get to work on...

Devil May Cry 5 Platinum Hunt - 18 minutes of basic visuals, estimated length 34 minutes

The video making continues and its going well. I'm having a lot of fun making this one and I believe that, algorithm permitting, it'll be a contender for my best video ever made!

A question for you good folk
One of my upcoming videos is "Ranking my 50 Platinum Trophies from Easiest to Hardest"

Should I include DLC trophies in there if I have them? Like, if I have the 100%, I use that difficulty as the basis for the ranking? Or just stick to the difficulty of only obtaining the platinum trophy? (yes, it will make a substantial difference in the ranking)

New video out this week!

Hey guys, just giving you an update as to how content production is going. Honestly, it's going very well

- New Witcher 3 trophy hunt video out within 7 days, on the DLC's Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. I think you'll enjoy this one, these DLC's are peak fiction

- Yu-Gi-Oh Archetype Analysis in April. It's been too long since my last one, I need to consume more cardboard

- Anniversary video. My channels 10th anniversary is coming up soon, and though there won't be any huge celebration or massive project, I have to at least acknowledge it and thank you all for your support

- May 11/12, the Devil May Cry 5 Platinum Hunt. I'm really banking on this one to be honest, I think it's one of the best videos I've made. Production on it is going very well and it will be finished on time

- ASAP after that, ranking my 50 platinum trophies from easiest to hardest. That video is going to be a fun one, it's fully scripted and everything, some of my better jokes in there.

- ASAP after that, "I got 10 Platinum Trophies in 10 days". I haven't earnt a platinum in about a month and I'm getting withdrawals because I'm saving them all for this challenge. Trust me, this'll be good, featuring a classic playstation franchise in here too

Thank you all for the continued support. I'm sorry things have gone a bit quiet, but the way I see it, this happens every year for MattTGM. Big December, slow January and February, then things really start picking up around April/May. My 2026 run is going to properly start soon, and I promise to make it worth it.

Which format would you prefer for ranking platinum trophies?

I'm now working on three trophy hunting videos at once. Yeah, I'm ambitious, but I have months to get it done :0

One of those videos is ranking all 50 of my platinum trophies (technically 51 of them), so I'm curious which format you'd prefer to see them in. Worst to Best, or Easiest to Hardest?

Which video are you most looking forward to?

Hey everyone, long time no speak. Thank you all so, so much for the support on the latest video, the top 5 hardest Batman Arkham Bosses. I haven't seen numbers like that in around 7 months, and it has done wonders for my confidence when it comes to youtube.

So, here's some updates about what's happening!

The Devil May Cry 5 Trophy Hunt is going really well. I'm 70% done with Worthy of Legend (all S-Ranks) and I'm honestly on track to get it done months ahead of the deadline (May 12th). So that video will be made as good as possible with all the extra time I'll have

To compensate for this, I'll be doing my best to make more videos between now and then. A new Yu-Gi-Oh Archetype Analysis, a boss roster breakdown on Expedition 33 (probably), I might even make a genuine start on A Questionable Recap of Batman Arkham City Part 1.

So, what are you most looking forward to seeing?

Hello everyone, it's MattTGM. I'm here with some news and updates about the channel, as well as my planned videos for the future

I apologise for the large gap in-between videos, but I needed this break. I feel refreshed, my creative spirit is stronger now, and I want to get back into making things. I make no promises when videos will come out, but know that they are being worked on.

Here are the videos I can promise for this year.

- A platinum trophy hunt for Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, releasing May 13th.

- "I got 10 Platinum Trophies in 10 days", a challenge video releasing in June.

- A single video re-ranking every boss in the Devil May Cry series from Worst to Best.

- A video re-ranking the hardest bosses in Devil May Cry (on hard mode or above, maybe even DMD)

- A video ranking every God of War boss from Worst to Best (Greek and Norse. I can record PS3 now)

- In December, a series of videos detailing my top games/bosses of all time (as of this year anyway). It's about damn time I finally got this one done.

I hope that lineup appeals to you. There will be videos and shorts made in-between of course, but these are the projects I can promise will be completed before the end of the year.
