If only he'd been held accountable many years ago.
Nothing like bloodshed during the holidays for all the wrong reasons, and, lying about it.
Seriously, very glad I'm a secular humanist. My god is better than your God stuff...it's neverending! No peace. I just don't see how some of y'all can sleep at night. Nuts.

While roughly only 1/3 to 1/4 of the world's population celebrate Christmas...a man's birthday who wasn't even born today...I continue to think about this. This isn't a partisan or political issue, it is a moral one.
Warning, some triggering stuff here. I have volunteered at DV shelters. It is painful to a lot of people.

I watch all six of these lectures every winter holiday. Usually, I put them on as background as I'm working. Some of the science is a bit outdated, but, no more outdated than certain beliefs 😉. I like the message behind it all, which is also on the surface. ☮️

So, Trump's Kennedy Center Honors will air tonight, right? I won't be watching. First time in decades.
Instead, I'm going to spend some time watching some favorites from years past. My only issue here is the fur. 😼

Love this!
I have two Okeh 78's from the 1920's of Fiddlin' John Carson. For decades, I've kept an eye out for Okeh labels in the wild. 80% or more of my records were found at charity/thrift shops. I've been digging since childhood. I rarely pay full price...unless it's from the artist themselves or their merch table at a show. I have a large collection of autographed albums. Even some of those were found for as little as a quarter!
My two Okehs are much cherished! But, the Asheville, NC sessions I've never found. I have visited the location, though.

Bass guitarist for Free and Faces and Creation.
My older sister loved Small Faces and Faces, Humble Pie, Rod Stewart...that stuff...in the 1970's, so, I heard a lot of this as a child. This is a great clip. Somewhere, I've seen another performance from around the same time...with can-can dancers at the beginning...they did a cover of Angel by Jimi Hendrix. I love that song. And, the Faces doing it is great. Lol, I can't find it right now...maybe it was just a fever dream!

Hmmm...tiny, cheap, efficient and effective little unmanned drones vs...big honkin' destroyers with AI and lasers.
And, we're back to Greenland...ugh...
Anyway...Bill Clinton and Donald Trump have both lied and covered up their affairs/indiscretions...crimes. I'd have so much more respect for them if they'd just tell the truth. And we could all move on!
Clinton is now saying he has nothing to hide. Calling Trump's bluff.
Yep...the lies and coverups are insulting at this point. Put your big boy pants on and 'fess up...as we say in the South.
The duck, dodge and cover up is tiresome and silly. Cowardly.
And, no, we won't be distracted or forget about all this.
Love to the survivors...this is cruel and grueling.
