A channel dedicated to the preservation of historical proletarian music.
Most songs have been digitised by me off of records from around the world that I've collected, though some are from more obscure parts of the internet, have been submitted by viewers, or are even original songs created for the channel. It's for this reason that I don't generally take requests, since if you've heard of it, it typically doesn't fall under the category of "rare". There are some exceptions, though, so if you think you've stumbled upon something truly rare (YouTube links to be ignored), feel free to message me on Twitter.
I post music from a wide variety of left ideologies, movements, or countries, so it would be pretty foolish to assume I agree with the ideology, movement, or country in any given video. I'm just an archivist, so try not to read too much into the songs I post. Just sit back and enjoy the music even if you disagree with it politically.

Apologies for the absence recently, I have been very busy in my personal life and making videos has become difficult. I have always tried to stick to a video a week, but as you can see, I have unfortunately broken that habit recently. I will attempt to post new videos more often.

Doing the yearly wrap-up once again and tabulating the statistics of the videos uploaded this year. In total, I uploaded 55 videos to the channel, 1 more than last year. 39 videos contained songs digitised by me, 8 videos solely consisted of songs found online, 4 were submitted by viewers, and 4 were originals. This means that over 70% of videos contained songs digitised from records, CDs, or cassettes. That's up from the 50% last year. As with last year, I noted the origin of each song and made a list below.

I try to post 1 video a week, but from today to the new year I'll be posting 1 video every 3 days. There's a few reasons for this, partly I've been feeling a burst of inspiration and partly I want to get my current hyperfocus out of the way to focus on new things in 2024. Cheers!
