Hi Everyone my name is Felipe Gomez and I am your new Saskatchewanderer.
Let me tell you a bit more about myself so we can go safely explore Saskatchewan together. I am a school teacher, a content creator and a musician.
For the last few years, I have travelled more than 20,000 kilometres on a bicycle sharing music and stories with communities across Canada. In 2017 I felt like the luckiest man alive when I was selected to be a member of the iconic Canada Canada C3, a 150-day expedition designed to celebrate the 150 years of this beautiful country.
🔥Now I want to bring the focus of our nation from the coastline to the heartland; we all know the world needs a lot more Saskatchewan!
I am not originally from here, I was born in the South American country of Chile. One of the proudest moments of my life was becoming a brand new Canadian Citizen last year.
I live, work, and play in Saskatchewan, and it is my mission to inspire other people to safely explore Saskatchewan, experience the outdoors, and embrace the wide diversity of attractions, businesses, art, cultures, landscapes, and wildlife that this amazing province has to offer.
I am following in the inspiring footsteps of the nine previous Saskatchewanderers; I am looking forward to blazing new trails as I explore Saskatchewan from north to south and everywhere in between.
