The Shovelwarewolf

Greetings, Shovelwarewolf fans! We hope you've been enjoying The CryoGames, which we launched back in March with "Balan Wonderworld" and whose most recent episode -- STUPID INVADERS -- premiered last week! 🛸

As we continue work on the show, we have a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT to make regarding the show's future! Starting with HOTEL MARIO in late September and moving forward, we will only be releasing one episode per month! 😮

There are a few reasons behind this change. For starters, the current workload of five episode batches is unsustainable. It's a lot of work and has already been causing a bit of burnout with how demanding it is. However, in all honesty, the biggest reason for the change is money. 💰

While we greatly appreciate all the support we receive from our fans, the combined income from Patreon/YouTube/Merch simply isn't enough to financially support two adults -- which means both Éloïse and Nate will be needing to get jobs elsewhere while we still work on the show in our free time. 📹

However, to counteract the fact we're only releasing one episode per month, we're planning to make these episodes significantly longer. Instead of being ~10 minutes each, we're aiming for them to be ~30 minutes each. This gives us more room for jokes and gameplay, since there's definitely been a lot of stuff left behind during the writing process in an effort to keep episode length "shorter." ✍️

We know some of you will probably be disappointed, but unfortunately, that's just how it has to be for now. Until we're making enough money from the show alone, we're gonna need to make extra income elsewhere. If at some point in the future The Shovelwarewolf becomes much more profitable, then we'll quit our day jobs and go back to making more episodes! 😎
