I originally started YouTube as a hobby, so a lot of my content is born out of stuff I love. I never expected that anyone would actually watch my videos...
On this channel, I make video essays, reviews, and retrospectives about all the things that made my childhood memorable. I happen to be a professional writer too, so I love using my channel as a way to talk about storytelling and the mechanics of plot. I use Disney films as simple illustrations for expressing these principles.
I’m also a fan of cinema in general, and I enjoy studying film history, so that shows up a lot in my work. I try to do a lot of research for my videos and consider a film from multiple different angles, including from the perspective of the artists themselves. Hopefully, everyone can walk away with something from my videos that they can use, whether they liked the movie that I’m talking about or not. Thank you for taking this journey with me!

Just my little way of saying thank you for being the best subscribers ever!
I started this YouTube channel as a hobby, and I never thought that anyone outside of my family or friends would watch my videos...let alone 1,000 other people! I never thought in a million years that I would EVER reach this many subscribers. I am SO thankful for each and every one of you.
I am especially indebted to those of you who found my channel early on and rooted for me even when I was still learning how to make videos (and didn't really know what I was doing yet). You believed in my potential and stuck with me every step of the way. THANK YOU!
I'm so excited for what's coming next! I have so many ideas...I never want to stop learning and growing. I have so much more to learn and I'm glad that you're all going to be along with me for the journey!

So apparently the "Live Premiere Service" had a lot of bugs...I apologize for any buffering or streaming delays...and I probably won't be using that again. The good news is that everything should be working properly now! :)
