📝ConceptThis summer, I went deeper into my DAW than ever—especially into synth processing and the mechanical side of sound design.
Electronic music is still full of unexplored territory.

I pushed my synths so far my brain almost overheated. Now I need daily sauna sessions just to reset and keep composing.

With new discoveries every day, my approach to frequencies and mastering has evolved.
This release features tracks created with those new techniques.

今年の夏はこれまで以上にDAWソフトを触り込んだ。
特にシンセの処理。機械的な部分の探究をし、改めて電子音の深さを実感した。まだまだ未知の領域がある。

シンセサイザーをいじりすぎて頭がおかしくなりそうだった。もはやオーバーヒート状態だ。
毎日サウナに行かないと脳がリセットできなくて作曲ができなくなってしまった。致命傷だ。

日々、新しい発見がある。
周波数処理やマスタリングのアプローチも、これまでとは少し変わった。
今回の作品には、そんな新しい技術を取り入れた新曲をたくさん収録している。

awareness.

I became aware, and I recognized it.
When I first started composing, I was driven by the thought that “I have to make a track that sells.” That pressure became an overwhelming source of stress.

But recently, one of my older tracks unexpectedly gained traction—not only in Mexico but across the world—surpassing 10 million plays. What surprised me even more is that this track was released three years ago, and it wasn’t created for commercial reasons. It was pure music, exactly what I wanted to make.

Over the years, more and more listeners have started to seek out that style. I’ve shifted to creating music that is 100% true to my own taste, and the number of people who connect with that individuality continues to grow.

Commercial ideas can have their place at times, but I choose to stay true to my own identity.
Experience the philosophy of sound, reimagined by JUSTIN OWEN.

○Description

EP UNITY は「団結」をテーマに制作した作品。
世界中の僕のリスナーとのつながり、そしていただいた感想やフィードバックへの感謝を込めています。
また、多くのメッセージをくれたリスナー限定の特別ポスターも用意した。自由に印刷してくれ。

1曲目 AROMACANDLE は、2022年に発表した「Aroma Candle」のリメイク。
当時より成長した音楽技術を活かし、自分の個性を最大限に表現した1曲です。

そのほかの楽曲では独自のハウススタイルを展開。みんなどう感じるかな？いつも以上に個性の強いハウススタイル。
そして6曲目にはライブ限定でしか披露してこなかった代表曲 SHINITAI の特別版を収録。EP UNITY is a project themed around togetherness.
It reflects my connection with listeners all over the world, as well as my gratitude for the feedback and messages I’ve received.
I’ve also prepared a special poster for those who shared many heartfelt messages—feel free to print and keep it.

The opening track, AROMACANDLE, is a remake of my 2022 release “Aroma Candle.”
With the growth of my production skills since then, I rebuilt it into a track that expresses my individuality to the fullest.

The rest of the EP explores my unique house style—stronger and more distinctive than ever before.
And as the 6th track, I’ve included a special version of my signature song SHINITAI, which until now was only performed live.

My track “SHINITAI” has officially hit 10 million streams worldwide.
I’ve received countless messages from around the world, saying they’re looking forward to a new release in that same emotional beat and melodic style.

That beat style may now be my “OLD STYLE”,
but creating this release brought me back to the exact moment two years ago when I made that track.

So from now on, I’ll call this style:

“jUs1iNoW3N SADNESS”.
