🔥 New YouTube Episode | Tubing Materials in Fired Heaters
In this episode, we break down the most important tubing materials used in fired heater coils across refining and petrochemical industries.
You’ll learn:
✔ The difference between Carbon Steel and Alloy Steels
✔ When to use Chromium and Molybdenum alloys
✔ The role of Nickel in high-temperature strength and crack resistance
✔ How Silicon improves oxidation resistance
✔ How to select the right material based on operating conditions
We also connect theory to real applications in:
Fired Heaters
Crude Distillation Units (CDU)
Hydroprocessing Units
🎯 By the end of this video, you’ll understand:
Common failure mechanisms (Creep, Oxidation, Carburization)
Practical material selection for engineers
If you’re a process engineer or working in refining, this episode is a must-watch 👌

🚨 New Video Alert! 🚨
🔥 What is Flash Point? 🔥
The flash point is the lowest temperature at which a liquid gives off enough vapor to ignite — but only for a moment — when exposed to a flame or spark.
It tells us how flammable a product is and how safely it should be stored.
💡 The lower the flash point → the more dangerous the liquid!
🛢 Examples:
Gasoline: around –40°C (very flammable)
Kerosene: 40–70°C
Diesel: 50–100°C
That’s why fuels are always stored below their flash points — to prevent vapor ignition and fire hazards.
👉 Watch now and learn more about flash point!

📌 New Video Alert!
Ever heard of weeping in a distillation column? 🤔💧
It happens when vapor flow is too low, and instead of proper vapor–liquid contact, the liquid leaks through the tray holes.
⚠️ The result?
❌ Poor separation
❌ Lower tray efficiency
❌ Off-spec products
In this video, I explain:
✅ What causes weeping
✅ How to detect it
✅ Practical ways to fix and prevent it
🔎 Check it out now and make sure your column runs smoothly!
