Venting time.
I was a Nintendo lover ever since we got a Wii back in the day. I grew up on Wuhu Island — best gaming memories ever.
But now, I feel the Nintendo fatigue. Mario Kart 8, Breath of the Wild, and Splatoon 2 & 3 were the ONLY games I truly enjoyed since the Switch came out.

Mario Kart World, Bananza, Tears of the Kingdom, and the Galaxy 1 & 2 ports are just boring.
I recently went down the rabbit hole of Nintendo’s greed and their exploitation of us fans… and I can’t unsee it anymore.
I’m done with Nintendo.

The only good and truly innovative game I still follow is Splatoon.
But aside from that, I’m done.
I’m no longer falling for their bullshit sellouts when they trample on my nostalgia and my love for that old Wii-era charm.
They’re trampling their own dignity.

I feel sorry for Shigeru Miyamoto, Eiji Aonuma, and Hisashi Nogami — they lost Satoru Iwata and Reggie.
Now, their two most recent bosses are just Wall Street–type finance shitheads.
They always talk about their investors and making them feel good — but what about us, the fans who keep getting trampled on by their fucking greed?

I used to tell myself, “Oh well, I’ll buy their stuff because I love Breath of the Wild,” thinking they’d use that money to stay secure and focus on authentic creativity.
But seeing how they’re willing to throw a ton of money at lawyers just to cripple Palworld — a game that managed to be more enjoyable than anything the Pokémon Company has made in years — makes me furious.
I’m done funding that kind of behavior.

They act like their emotional and ethical intelligence is that of a helpless 3-year-old.
What. The. Fuck.

I’m done.
And I’ll keep uploading OSTs — because they don’t even bother releasing soundtracks for us fans on YouTube or Spotify.
They always hide behind legal cloaks while backstabbing the community that built them up, all for the sake of profit.

Elgato's capturing devices unfortunately do not work properly with Nintendo Switch 2 at the moment.
I'll wait with playing MK World until then, because I want to stream and react to the new soundtracks and game mechanics in realtime. See ya!
