I feel like the word 'inspiration' is thrown around in so much of minecraft building content without any elaboration whatsoever. "The first step to making a good build is FINDING INSPIRATION!!!!!!" (guilty lmfao). Taking inspiration is something seemingly simple that gets surprisingly complex once you pull things from drastically different sources and try to make it cohesive. Or when you've got the perfect reference photo, but you don't know how to translate it into MC without fucking up the texture, hue or shape of a part of it.
Inspiration is hard. Somebody should seriously make a video about this... hopefully some unnamed individual out there can make a comprehensive tutorial on inspiration sometime soon🤷🏽♀️
