PM SHRI School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pekhubela (Una) has brought great pride to District Una and the entire state of Himachal Pradesh by securing 1st Position at the National Level in the Model Youth Gram Sabha Competition under the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya category.
The prestigious award was presented at a national Award Ceremony held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, where the school team received the honour from Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel, Hon’ble Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, Government of India.
On this occasion, the school was awarded a ₹1 Crore cash prize, along with a Certificate of Appreciation and a Memento.
The award was received by the Principal, Mr. Raj Singh, along with the participating students.
The ceremony was also graced by the presence of dedicated faculty members Ms. Sunita Chaudhary(Nodal Teacher), Mr. Amit Kumar, Mr. Dharmendra Kumar, and District Panchayat Officer, Una, Mr. Shravan Kumar.

This achievement highlights the strength of youth leadership, democratic values, and 21st-century skills, groomed through the collective efforts of dedicated teachers and enthusiastic students.
Our 30-member student team will now showcase the Model Youth Gram Sabha at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 28 January 2026, and receive the National Award 🇮🇳
