I had a great time listening to Frank Miller talk about his career at the Royal Geographic Society in London today.
Frank’s underlying message was that if you’re a creative person, be creative. The worst thing that can happen is that you’ll fail, and, from his perspective, failure isn’t that bad.

Right, that's voting for August's Members Only Video closed. 8 of The Back Issue Brigade voted and the winner was the first appearance of Harley Quinn in Batman Adventures 12.

I bought this Absolute Batman acrylic panel from Bottleneck Gallery a few months ago and it finally turned up yesterday.
It’s about the same size as the comic and will sit on my desk. I also have a much larger, framed acrylic panel that’ll be hung on the walls of my office once I get around to redecorating it.

More Absolute announcements from San Diego Comic Con! Avoid swiping through the images if you’re sensitive to spoilers!
1. There’s going to be an Absolute Black Canary special that’s coming out between Absolute Green Arrow 6 and 7.
2. Absolute Flash 20 is going to introduce a very familiar character, and may set the stage for something… TITANic 😉
3. Barbara Minerva’s Cheetah will debut in Absolute Wonder Woman 25
4. There’s going to be another Ark M special, and this one will introduce the overseer of the Ark projects, Professor Pyg.
5. In February 2027 DC are publishing a special Darkseid vs The World that promises to bring the Absolute Universe a step closer to the mainline universe.

DC’s Next Level continues in September with several new books:
Static, Vixen, Shadow of the Bat, The Demon, and Jonah Hex join the previously announced Legion of Superheroes, Teen Titans, and Doom Patrol.
Will you be picking up any of these comics? I’m down for all of them.

Just announced for this year’s Batman Day - a crossover story between Absolute Batman and the mainline Batman.
My understanding is that the plot doesn’t show the two teaming up, more that they both have the exact same issue and the comic will show how differently they approach it.
Batman Day this year falls on September 19th.
