Video essayist, and author of Rogues' Gallery, I spend way too much time, energy and money on comic books so I've created a second channel to talk all about them.

It’s new comic book day and my own personal Week of Doom kicks off today as I’ll be covering SEVEN books over the next week.
We’ll have videos for Absolute Superman 24, Midnight Spider-Man 1, Midnight X-Men 1, Absolute Green Lantern 19, Midnight Fantastic Four 1, and The Demon 1.
I’ll also make a Short about Batman 14 while doing my best to ignore the Bad Seeds crossover.
Which of these are you most interested in?

This week is going to be a busy one for team Serum Lake Comics, so much so that I'm jokingly referring to it as The Week of Doom. I'll be covering SEVEN comics over the coming days:
Absolute Superman 24
Absolute Green Lantern 19
The Demon 1
Midnight Spider-Man 1
Midnight X-Men 1
Midnight Fantastic Four 1
And I'll probably make a Short about Batman 14 (so I don't bore you all ranting about how pointless the Bad Seeds crossover has been!)
So, yeah, busy week and I hope you enjoy hearing about these cool comics.

I’ve had a nasty cold most of this week, so I’m taking the opportunity to catch up on some recent releases. Who said that chicken soup was the only way to fight a cold? 😂

As there aren’t any new Absolute books out this week, I’m doing a slightly different video. Seeing as so many of you are interested in the Clayface movie I’m going to recommend some great Clayface comics that may have flown under your radar!
All of them are available on the DC Universe Infinite App (some of them on the free tier!) or are fairly inexpensive if you wanted to track them down at your local comic shop.
Hope you enjoy it. This is more of the kind of thing that I want to make during quiet weeks, but obviously I can only make these if people enjoy them.

My latest Members video about the unhinged history of the Mud Pack is live now for channel members. You'll hear a short personal story about my complex feelings about Clayface, the history of the four (!!!!) Clayfaces, and why The Mud Pack was such a weird, yet endearing story.
Don't forget that Members will also get to vote on next month's Members Only video. This time they're picking between four comics by the late Darwyn Cooke: Batman: Ego, Selina's Big Score, The new Frontier, and Parker: The Hunter.
If any of those sound good to you, join the channel now and have your say.
