That saidโฆ some of my interests lean toward the eerie, haunting, and even a bit metal. Ever since I started this channel, I knew I wanted a mix of lo-fi, classical, and gothic metal. I get that not everyone is into all of those vibes, but... sometimes the music calls for a little darkness.
๐ Will there still be chill music? Absolutely. But every now and thenโฆ things might get a little less chill. โจ

man, finding the write image/thumbnail is lowkey the hardest part here? (and I'm an art major-) Get ready for some Lunar New Year of the Snake nostalgia!! โค๏ธ๐โค๏ธ
Some of you may wonder where I've been as of late: Don't worry -- I did still write many things, and compose a few.
I had many setbacks, especially last year: 1. Pretty much all of my music equipment broke, 2. The software I relied on also became utterly obsolete. [in case anybody is wondering: I used a software called Ignite, by AIR Music Technology. It was a German company iirc. It was a tiny software CD I got with a tiny MIDI keyboard. Even though that keyboard didn't make it long term and I used an old synthesizer at the end of it. That synthesizer still serves me after ~20 years. She does complain with a very non-compliant E-key though!] 3. My allergies and health had taken a bit of a turn for the worst.
In fact, this year, I composed new music and even got a new mic! My voice also recovered from a cold. I had resources, energy and time (sleeping at 4AM = time ofc) Alas, as I thought I could make more music, I am falling sick again. Somebody fell sick, and here I am, feeling my vocal chords hurt once again.
So, this year, I plan on changing things a bit: 1. I'm not the most magnificent singer, but, most of my work so far uses my voice. I will try to rely on it less. It is an instrument after all -- the end goal is to share a certain human experience. I need not rely on my voice alone, or even a voice necessarily to express myself. So, expect more instrumentals as well! And some work that may not use my voice at all, even if it uses the words.
I have always been a miniscule channel -- with my goal to save my work, more than share things with the World, if I'm honest.
But if anybody has read this today, I want to say that I hope you are doing well. That whether you care for any of the music I make, or not, I appreciate that you've read so far. I hope you find the strength to do things that make you happy. Stay healthy and stay cozy!
While I compose and figure things out, feel free to check my other channel, โช@yulanorโฌโ . I plan on curating as much music as possible for you to listen to. Maybe you'll discover something you never did before.
