Oh, and btw I know that's not the greatest thing to do if you wanna grow big on yt. But I do honestly want to show what I can do rather than rushing.

split's game isn't cancelled it's just postponed, apologies to the Very small amount of people who were interested (I don't imagine it was a lot at all lol). The game is currently too ambitious to be my first ever game project so for my own mental sake it will be in permanent hiatus with no updates for the foreseeable future.
I, along side a couple of friends helping me with concepts, are currently making a much more smaller scale game that will be more manageable and will help me get a better grasp on how to handle game design. I have made many small games in my own time but jumping to the scale of "split and the star guardian" had was not the greatest of ideas (especially with announcing it so early into development).
I would like to again emphasise that "split and the star guardian" is not cancelled, just postponed until we're more capable of handling it's development.

some good news for once lol, I have managed to recover and repair an older build of split's game before the revamp testing. Once we get a movement feel we think is good, I'll work on moving and finalising it back into the original build (a lot of the "repairing" was just sorting out spaghetti code lol).
This is good because the older build was more later stage in terms of development, we were actually bringing in level mechanics and power ups!
once i sort the rest of the code to be easily worked with and sorted neatly I'll continue to mess around with the revamped movement build till it feels just right.

Sorry for the late update, I've been working on revamping the movement and other things for Split and the star guardian. It makes more sense for the species she's based on now (which is a kangaroo rat if you're wondering). I'll release footage of it along with the new main theme once i polish it up enough.

actually though my pc stopped working and currently will not boot, the files are still on the pc but something doesn't seem right so I'll have to get that checked out, im so sorry for all these delays on this small of a game (if anyone even cares about it at this point)

we finally have the story nearing it's completion and have a grasp on what we want the game to look like / sound like! updates should be coming soon as we work on the levels and design. the stand still seems to be finally over!

ok bad news, so due to an accident I have lost a years worth of work. and the recovery I had only went back to around a year ago (the newer recovery's had corrupted). so basically, the entire soundtrack for split and the star guardian is gone. and I will have to start it all over again. this has caused quite a set back and has devastated me greatly, but I shall persist and keep pushing. I and a few friends will work on remaking the soundtrack as we go forward.
I apologise, once we're back on track I will FINALLY try to find a schedule to update you all.

short update, sorry for the lack of videos. split's game is still rough around the edges.
the game will be free with the option to donate if you so wish. (donations will only be introduced when the game is definitely coming out, aka when there's literally no chance of the project being dropped or cancelled)
remember, donations are not required nor will they be pushed on you

Split's game will be "split" into 2 games (maybe 3 depending on circumstances), I feel the story may be a little too much for one game and may feel like a clutter.
The 2 games are named (as of right now):
Split & the Star Guardian
Split & the True Horizon
just and update if you all are interested.
Oh and also the story is very near it's completion, the game will be receiving it's levels and maybe a quick beta for you guys to test down the line. (don't expect something too much this is my first game, there are still quite afew bugs i need to fix).
