I flew on SG649 which recently performed an emergency landing in Jaipur following a technical issue. Suspected causes are rife with speculation, hence unworthy of discussion.
Video will be up soon, it was quite an interesting flight.

I have many questions about this incident.
Did the 6E pilots not notice an aircraft on the runway during their approach? The visibility doesn’t seem to be low enough to have missed it.
Why wasn’t a go-around initiated earlier? Even if you have the landing clearance, you, as a pilot make the final call to continue or abort an approach.
It might seem too late to do that but they could’ve headed towards the south or north of the airport after a go-around instead of endangering everybody’s lives onboard with such a close call.
Time to wait for the official investigation report.
